Welcome to Studio 48 Performing Arts Center. Studio 48 PAC is like “no other” Performing Arts center in the State of Maine. It was founded by a Brunswick native and former Miss Maine America, Rebecca Beck, who specifically designed the center to develop the “finest performer” of all ages, in the world of performing arts. Her experience as a child was taking lessons in an small 8×10 studio which ended in a yearly recital. When she went to the Miss America pageant to compete in 1982, she realized that most of the contestants had an element of performing arts that went beyond that 8×10 studio and annual recital. Through her experience, training and design, she developed a Performing Arts Center that offers a wealth of knowledge in Performing Arts discipline as well as many opportunities to perform within the studio, in the community and beyond.
Studio 48 Performing Arts Center offers private and group lessons in voice, violin, piano, dance and pageantry. It offers workshops in theater, musical theater, and pageantry.
