Established in 1995, the Academy of Music is Richmond’s premiere classically based music school and has taught hundreds of students to develop their musical talents by providing lessons, classes, ensemble opportunities, summer programs, master classes and workshops in music, as well as free concerts and special cultural events. The Academy of Music offers quality music education in a supportive environment so children and adults can discover, enjoy, explore and expand their musical abilities. Any student is welcome here, from the complete novice to the professional.
